A soft, penetrating beeswax-based polish, designed to nourish dry timber floors. Buffs to a soft, natural sheen.

Surface Preparation |
Ensure the timber is well sanded and smooth. We recommend using a sanding sealer to reduce the amount of wax needed. Apply before waxing. |

Minimum 30 minutes. Ensure the surface is touch dry with no fingerprinting before applying the next coat. |
Maintenance |
Depending on wear, as the surface becomes dull or dry. |
Clean Up |
Warm, soapy water for hands or cloth. Excess wax on timber; dampen a cloth with mineral turpentine. |
Very happy with the product on our hoop pine floors which were covered in lead paint from probably the last 80 years or so. Once the paint was removed the hoop pine was revealed in its glory,so there was no better option than waxing and polishing with Gilly’s clear floor polish.Loved doing the application and seeing the results .We applied Tung oil to the spotted gum flooring in the kitchen dining room and the hoop pine in the lounge ,but decided the clear wax for the rest of the rooms brought out a rich honey colouring to the pine.
This is just the best, I use it on tool handles/plane totes, goes well over boiled linseed oil. I have not been able to find a replacement for Johnson’s Paste Wax until now. I have tried many other suggested finishes particularly carnuba wax from bigger companies and have had to use gloves because of a skin reaction, something I have never had before.
This has no negative effects at all really happy.
Wanted a low/non-toxic product to nourish and protect my raw hoop pine floors. I called ahead to get advice on the best product for what I needed and received great customer service. The wax was easy to apply, brought a beautiful rich sheen to the timber, and protects it from water. No headaches from fumes, and I love that you can reapply as needed without a problem. Not only that, but the company is Australian and has a beautiful story behind it. Do yourself a favour and try it.
I am using the Gilly's Floorwax on raw pine floorboards and they look fantastic!. Easy to use and a little goes a long way.
We just sanded all our hardwood floors and used Gilly's floor polish over a petrochemical product. It has brought out the colour of the wood so beautifully. It was super easy to apply, even our six year old daughter could help. It was also a quick process. On with a rag, buff a little bit and finished and ready to be walked on. The smell is natural and only adds to the finished look. The floors are beautifully 'soft' to walk on.
The product arrived in no time and one tin goes a long way!
I absolutely recommend Gilly's to you for your floor if you want a natural product.
