Cabinet Makers Wax
Gilly’s Cabinet Makers Wax is a firm, buildable finishing wax designed to create a durable protective layer on timber surfaces. This traditional formula helps enhance the natural beauty of wood while protecting it from everyday wear and moisture.
Its firm consistency allows the wax to be worked deep into the grain, making it especially effective for filling small imperfections such as hairline cracks, tiny holes, and surface irregularities. The result is a smoother, more refined finish that highlights the natural character of the timber.
Cabinet Makers Wax is particularly suited to woods such as oak, jarrah, and other timbers without a specific finish, where it helps build depth and a soft natural sheen. It can also be used over restoring polishes to create a traditional hand-finished look.
Use For
- Furniture restoration and finishing
- Cabinets, boxes, and fine woodworking
- Oak, jarrah, and unfinished timbers
- Timber that requires minor surface filling
- Traditional wax finishing processes
