Description
Gilly’s Lime Wax is a richly pigmented white wax designed to create a soft whitewashed or limed effect on timber surfaces. Made from a natural blend of waxes, oils, and titanium dioxide, it enhances the grain while adding a subtle, decorative finish.

Perfect for both restoration and creative finishes, Lime Wax can be applied to raw timber to achieve a classic whitewashed look, or used over existing finishes to highlight grain and texture with a liming effect.

It’s especially effective over chalk paint, where it adds depth and a soft, aged character.

Follow up with a coat of Carnauba Polish Clear for added protection and to lock colour in.

Application

 

Surface Preparation Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
How to Apply
  1. Apply sparingly with a clean, lint-free cloth. 
  2. Wipe away any excess. 
  3. Follow up with Carnauba Polish application for added protection and to lock colour in.
Dry Time 20 minutes provided excess is wiped away.
Maintenance Depending on wear. Can be maintained with Carnauba Polish.
