Brush Soap
Gilly’s Brush Soap is a gentle yet concentrated cleaner designed to clean, condition, and preserve brushes and equipment. Made from natural plant oils with a fresh eucalyptus aroma, it effectively removes paint while helping keep bristles soft, flexible, and in excellent condition.
Unlike harsh solvents, Brush Soap provides a safer, non-toxic alternative for cleaning brushes, making it ideal for use in workshops, studios, and home environments. It works on a wide range of paints and coatings while helping extend the life and performance of your tools.
The versatile formula can be used diluted for everyday cleaning or applied undiluted for tougher jobs, ensuring even heavily used brushes can be restored and reused.
Use For
- Synthetic & natural brushes
- Acrylic & oil paints
- Chalk & mineral paints
- Tool & equipment cleanup
- To clean painting shirts, aprons and other wear
- Other general cleanup
Safer to use
A safer alternative to using solvents.
Application
Brush soap can be diluted in a jar with water for regular cleaning, using a ratio of 1 part soap to 4 parts water. Use undiluted for brushes with tougher to clean paint.
Carefully work the soap through the bristles. Brushes can be left in solution overnight. Rinse with tepid water after use.
Ensure soap is rinsed off well. Re-shape brush and leave to dry before painting again. Always rest brushes horizontal to dry.
